Lubitel 166+, my first medium format

First try on Medium Format
Lubitel 166+, Kodak Pro 160

My first medium format photo!
I bought Belair first,
but my dear got me the Lubitel 166+,
and I got it before the Belair!!
So, Lubitel 166+ is my first medium format!
So, do I LIKE IT? SURE!

The lens is so sharp, oh ya,
please steady it and don't shake during bulb mode.
For sure, it is difficult to take indoor shot,
low ISO, biggest aperture is f/4.5,
so please use cable release and tripod.
Or else you will get blur image.

Before I get this, I thought this Lubitel 166+ is zone focus.
I'm wrong, this is not.
This camera can focus in any distance,
not like the LC-A+.
This is surely the best I can get.

Now the problem with medium format is,
the film is too expensive.
Only 12 shots in a roll? I should take photos with more cautious.

Overall, LOVE it!

Long time didn't update my blog. Internet at home got problem for about 2 months, then my computer hard disk broke down, and I lost all my scanning. Luckily I still got those film and uploaded to lomography.com. Now, I only do have chance to share my photos with you which I took in December 2012. Enjoy.

Yes, first batch of Belair,
officially Sold out,
so they are getting the order for the second batch of Belair.
Before I made my order,
I don't have much information about Belair,
now there are more about the camera.

This is the light meter, auto exposure system.

Classic Bellows Design

For sure, Hot-shoes for flash.

The 90mm lens, but no 58mm lens yet.

3 shooting formats, interesting.

50-1600 ISO setting, include with the B mode.

Spinner 360 on hand

Recently I brought spinner 360 for my trip to Lake Kenyir.
This is for the first try.
Loaded with Kodak Ultramax 400, walked around.
Not too heavy to hold in hand, feel still ok.
PULL and Release, photos captured.
So, waiting for the result.
